I am making a traditionally British Afternoon Tea! ‘Nostalgic Baking #2’, the series where I try to make international foods of places I miss going to.
Culturally Curious Cuisine. The brainchild of what you get when you are in essence a food-loving traveller. Because there is nothing better then the sensation of trying new flavours & foods.
This is the place on my blog were I dive into the kitchen. Due to many of reasons, it is where I have reinvented myself through several of lockdowns. My kitchen, the heart of the home, has become a place to try internationally inspired recipes. It’s travel reinvented through food!
Added to that will be some old favourites. We all have those foods that instantly activate a memory in our brain. I am on the hunt for those memories. I call it nostalgic cooking.
Welcome to my culturally curious cuisine. Have a wander around and let’s bring the world into our kitchen. Don’t be mistaken, the emphasis is very much on: I TRY.
This is the very first Vlog on a series I like to call: “Nostalgic Baking”. Since we can’t travel, I decided to bring back memories by recreating some of my favourite foods I discovered whilst travelling. First up: my favourite Aussie treats: TIM TAMS!
